  I am an empty nester who lives in a primarily rural area. I started blogging and had a false start of sorts with another blog but settled in with this blog a few months ago. I appreciate the social aspect of blogging since my area is rather isolated and I like the act of writing,its rather a peaceful and calming act. My blog is about life in general, I am a mother of grown children, I cook, I have a great camera, my husband is fabulous and loving. I'd like to think I'm funny and nice as a person. I used to be a dog person yet now that we're free to travel we have cats and they're little devils. I make a mean pizza and grow a great garden every summer!
