Lestaret (526)
This is the blog of Christopher Skinner. I’m a graphic designer, printmaker and asemic artist. I love ephemera, experimental music and making books, as well as my whippet lurcher, Devo. I like to share what I’m doing, what I’m thinking and various other inconsequential things. Stay awhile and have a dig through the archives – you might find something interesting… -
Life Simplified - Lisa Charlene... (475)
My name is Lisa Charlene Johnson Sawyer. I have learned that I like to write. It eases my mind as well as my heart and soul. I have spent the most amazing time of my life, living life. I’m getting ready to spend the next part of my life living amazingly. I can’t wait.
I’ll try hard to keep my “southern-ness†off my page….Maybe. But this is MY BLOG AND MY DOT COM….If you don’t like what you are reading, you have TWO options….1) if you don’t already have a blog, feel free to get your own, let me know when it’s up and then I will tell you what I think of yours. OR 2) you can click that little X in the right hand corner and keep on keeping on. I find that quite fair enough. No harm no foul. -

Living Outside the Stacks (529)
Navigating through life away from the library

Lizardyoga's People (447)
Why Lizardyoga?
OK well the yoga is easy. I teach yoga and have practised it on and off since 1974, more seriously since 1990. I now run yoga teacher training courses.
Lizard was a nickname I was given by some friends in Cornwall, particularly after I lost my clothes on the beach. In those days (and basically ever since) I was completely hopeless, never knew where I was or what was going on. So I sunbathed on the rocks on Porthleven beach (one of the most beautiful places I have ever been in my life) and as the tide moved I moved higher up. It did not occur to me that I had forgotten my clothes, keys, money, shoes. I expect them to wash up on my desert island any day now. -
Lollygag Blog (460)
A playwright, former nanny, and new-ish Mom in the city of Chicago, I blog about my money pit of a home, extraordinarily tolerant husband, and my two daughters (who are comprised largely of sunbeams, stickers, and peanut butter). Trivia: despite years of schooling and a decent intelligence quotient, I am completely unable to provide even a perfunctory explanation of how electricity works. Also, I over-hyphenate and use hyperbole more than anyone in the whole world. (See?) Lollygag Blog- Making up words, babies & houses since 2008. -
Lucymarie Ruth --- a.k.a. illyrialady (405)
And what should I do in Illyria?
Great power is not an infinitely liberating force but a bottomless (infernal) pit.†American Exceptionalism is no different from the exceptionalism of any preceding empire. If fear is the greatest motivating force, when will the fear of the destruction of the planet through human-caused climate change, through human-caused destruction of the environment, through the high possibility of human-caused nuclear annihilation, overcome the fear of the loss of American power and hegemony, which is already dwindling in any case? Do we really want to “make America great again Even if that were possible? Are we really so crass and short-sighted that we want to bring about the destruction of the whole world? So far, we are proving that we are so. -
MACBOFISBIL (443)
I came up with this name in July 2012 while sitting at a computer desk. It was originally the name for a new YouTube channel I had created. After writing down a bunch of adjectives that could describe a fun life, I rearranged them and finally came to what I liked best: MACBOFISBIL, simply because it was easy to pronounce and was a strong and unique name all my own.
