I visited LA in the late '70s and was flabbergasted by the traffic situation there. I remember 5 lanes of bumper to bumper rolling at 80 miles-per-hour! Thankfully I was not treated to a stand-still version of this traffic jam.

When I think about the forays I have made into Florida I am reminded of my civic duty to tell the World "do not drive your car in Boca Raton" - Craziest --- Drivers --- EVER! (and I've driven in Chicago and Boston) [smiley:;)]

I have only ever been in a few grid-locked, not going ANYwhere, wished-I-went-to-the-little-boys-room-before-I-left, honest to goodness traffic jams here in Indianapolis. I could not imagine dealing with that madness on a regular basis.

I really enjoyed this quote though, as it seemed to suggest the philosophy that before you complain about the state of affairs in the world around you, take a look at yourself. The ol' "if you are not part of the solution..." business.
