What a brilliant post! I can't believe I've never heard of these. I have a small collection of ambotypes, of which I am a huge fan. I cannot see any magic eye pictures, it simply doesn't work for me, my eyes have a will all of their own it seems sadly. Most enjoyable stuff this though, I shall look into the images I found and do my own post on them at some point. Thank you masodo :D

If you are unable to freeview this stereo pair (it really does take patience and practice) but do have access to a stereoscope you can print the image from the following link (sized for printing): http://BlogDogIt.com/images/StereoViews/Print/Special-001P.jpg - the stereoview should measure 6" X 4" (150dpi)

I am glad you found this as interesting as I did, sonmicloud... Why this was not widely reported speaks to the quality of mass media (in my estimation.)
