I was kinda wondering if this devastation impacted on your life at all (knowing that you are in Washington.) Simply awful about all those people who were directly affected.

Among other things, I was fascinated with the fact that scientist and other observers knew of the eminent disaster in ample time to install instrumentation and cameras to record this event with such fine grained detail.

Many brave souls perished in the quest for knowledge.This film represents a tribute to the people involved in addition to documenting the destructive force of the eruption.
