I noticed the following question in the Reddit RSS Feed today and was drawn as if a moth to flame:

If we had no eyes then we would be unaware of the existence of color. What if we are are missing an entire aspect of everything simply because we do not have the organ to detect it?

As interesting as its accompanying comments and discussions were, the best takeaway for me was in a comment by neegs suggesting the  viewing of this video in the context of the posted question.
